How do your piston powered Piper Navajos compare to turboprops?
Our multiengine Piper Navajos compare quite favorably with many popular turboprops. You will find the Navajos all weather capability, cabin size, club seating and overall comfort to be about the same. On average, most turboprops are about 20% faster than the Navajo; however you can expect to pay twice as much. We believe you will find the Piper Navajo to be an excellent economic alternative for your air transportation needs.
Is cabin pressurization important?
When flying at high altitudes, cabin pressurization is a must. However, for most typical charter flights a non-pressurized airplane like the Piper Navajo can operate at comfortable altitudes without the need for pressurization or supplemental oxygen. With the Navajos turbocharged performance, high altitude operations are possible but rarely required.
What are the qualifications and experience level of your pilots?
All of our pilots meet the stringent requirements set by the FAA under FAR 135 and are trained and tested to the same standards as all FAA Certified Air Carriers. Pilot flight time and duty time is limited by regulations for your safety.
Can you supply a two pilot crew if requested?
Yes, when weather conditions require or if you request two pilots for added comfort and peace of mind, we can provide you with a second pilot at no additional charge.
Can I request special in-flight accommodations?
Yes, our goal is to provide personalized attention on each and every flight. So, if you desire any onboard catering, special refreshments or beverages, please let us know.
Are there any restrictions on the amount of baggage I can bring?
On most medium range flights and typical passenger loading, baggage weight is rarely an issue. For longer trips with five or more passengers baggage weight may be limited to 25 pounds per person.
Can weather affect my trip?
Weather can be a factor for any flight in any airplane. Fortunately, in California, weather is not a problem during most months of the year. However, in the winter months weather can cause delays. For example, early morning fog can delay departure times and enroute weather may require alternate routing and possible delays.
Is my trip quote firm and what does it include?
All trip quotes are firm and include the aircraft, flight crew and requested standby time. If the pilot and aircraft are required to layover at your destination, then there is an additional overnight fee. Trip quotes also include all applicable taxes and airport fees.
Can I bring alcoholic beverages on board my flight?
FAA regulations do not allow passengers to bring their own alcoholic beverages on board a charter flight. However, we do provide our customers a small selection of beer and wine on each flight. If you have a special request, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
What are your hours of operation?
We are available for air charters 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
Do you offer special rates for frequent customers?
Yes, please contact us for more information on our frequent charter program.
